One of our girls are sick (Brain anomaly and has lost all fluid) so we are anticipating some bad news....Im just so tired and drained. Its one thing after another this pregnancy and I just want a break :(

we're currently waiting for the doctor to get out of surgery for a scan. Honestly wish I could just close my eyes and fast forward time

Emelene · 06/04/2022 04:37

Sounds like a tough time OP. You’re in the right place. Flowers Do you know when the scan will be? Is it something they do overnight or will it be in the morning?

twinsetandpearl · 06/04/2022 04:45

Thinking of you. I also experienced the same with my twins - huge bleeds from 28 weeks x

Cantchooseaname · 06/04/2022 04:50

Are you able to have someone with you? That all sounds terrifying. Hope you have managed some rest.

ittakes2 · 06/04/2022 04:55

The blood is scary but I also started bleeding red blood (28 weeks) and kept bleeding for weeks. Delivered healthy twins 36 weeks. I hope you are ok and things work out for you. Just concentrate on breathing. Breathe in through your mouth and then think about your breathe leaving your nostrils. Hopefully this will help you feel calm (technique I was taught during ivf).

ittakes2 · 06/04/2022 04:57

Actually sorry I just tried it again and I think it’s breathe in and out through your nostrils! The most important bit is thinking about it leaving your nostrils - I guess it forces you to clear your mind.

Counting breath can help in for 4, hold for 4 and out for 8. It reduces carbon dioxide in the body. Other than that lots of distraction- phone, book, tv. Your in the right place try to rest as much as you can.

What a dreadful night! Hope you're doing ok xx
