9 weeks pregnant, feel dead on my feet, house a mess, getting behind with everything, like I've lost all energy. This is my second child, I remember feeling tired last time but had an easier job and no toddler. Will it get better in the 2nd trimester?

It did for me, both times. Do what absolutely has to be done and no more. Hang on in there.

I remember telling my boss (a middle aged man, who wasn't someone I was accustomed to sharing with) that I was so tired I could cry in early pregnancy.

I was sick every single day right through my pregnancy but the tiredness did ease.

I will hang on in!

The tiredness definitely got better for me after the 1st trimester. Hope you feel better soon.

It does get better, but being pregnant, working and looking after a toddler is exhausting. If you can build in rest/nap periods during the day it can help, but I know this is not always possible.
I used to to put my feet up at lunchtime, even if it meant lying on the floor, and tried to have a nap when I got home from work - if there's no one else to see to toddler then, maybe have a sofa/cuddle/screen time then?
