I’m currently 8+6 and have a bad cold with sore throat/dry cough. All lateral flows have been negative so far. However, my nausea and acid reflux that I’ve had for the past few weeks have disappeared this morning.

Is this because my body is fighting this cold or should I be worried?

Could it be that you're noticing the pregnancy symptoms less because you're feeling unwell otherwise? I'm very deeply not a doctor so my advice is pretty worthless, but as I understand it the main danger to early pregnancy is a very high temperature, so if you haven't had one of those I would try not to worry. Go to your nearest EPU if you need to though.

How are you doing now OP?

I ended up testing positive for covid which explains all my symptoms! But still not experiencing any pregnancy symptoms now. Possibly because my body’s fighting covid instead?

I tested positive for Covid nearly two weeks ago at 9+0. Exactly the same happened to me: stopped feeling sick and instead felt full of cold/ even more exhausted etc etc. Took about 5 days to feel better and pregnancy symptoms then came back. Finally tested negative today!
