41+1 - Back pain

Hi all. I’m 41 weeks and 1 day pregnant with my first (and completely miserable Confused) and so far I’ve barely had a niggle until this morning, just want some opinions and hopefully similar experiences.

So I’ve woken about an hour ago feeling nothing as per usual, went to the toilet and then back to bed and after about ten minutes of laying in bed my back started to ache a bit. I got out of bed to sit in our recliner, the only comfortable sitting place on the house for me at the moment, and the back pain seems to feel a lot worse but isn’t accompanied by any other pains or tightenings in my bump. The back pain is constant but every few minutes feels as if it gets a little bit worse for a few minutes. I was told at my last midwife appointment that baby is back to back so I’m not sure if that could be the reason but I’m starting to freak out a little bit because I’m not sure if this is the start of something or not. Any suggestions?

My babies were back to back and I felt it all in my back/right leg, it maybe well be labour.

As you’re overdue could you go in for monitoring maybe? Set your mind at rest?

Mine was back to back and I felt all my contractions in my lower back- nothing at all like I’d imagined them to feel. I’d probably start timing when the pain gets worse, or at the very least give the ward a call for advice. Good luck
