Transferred 2 embryos on 2/23. HCG dropped after 2nd beta (85, 131, down to 85). With a low rise between beta 1 & 2 of 33% and the drop on my 3rd test my doctor made me stop all my medications and 18dpt my period started.😔 BUT 31 dpt I started to feel pregnant again and the hpt test was very very positive when I checked on 33 dpt but HCG was only 741. 48 hours later HCG was 949, so my husband and I assume it was non viable and my fertility clinic told me to go get the shot to abort the pregnancy. I went to the ER the next day which was 36 hours later and my HCG was 1143. The ER doc wouldn't give me the shot because he thinks it could be viable since the sac was to small to get a heart beat. Is he just being cautious? The gestational sac was 5 weeks 2 days. I'm supposed to be 7 weeks according to the due date calculator based on transfer.
So my question has anyone else ever heard of this turning into a normal pregnancy? I've already grived this loss 2 x.
Also we have been trying for 2 years with 8 ivf cycles.
