Any one bought from Boohoo maternity? What are your thoughts?

I bought some maternity PJs from there. Cheap and cheerful but I don't really like spending much on maternity wear anyway as you don't get to wear it for long!

I bought a few dresses and returned them all.
They were either see through or already too small! I bought the correct size but should have sized up.
Ended up just buying stretchy clothes from primark!

I got a few dresses from them with DS1 and will get them back out soon once the bump appears for DC2. Not amazing quality - but have definitely lasted (and I wore them on constant rotation last time).

I don't like spending loads on maternity clothes. And like that they are vaguely more "fashionable" than a lot of other options.

Far too small! Maternity stuff is so hit and miss there.

Bought a spring cardigan and only just covers my stomach Confused

GirlMum93 · 03/04/2022 18:50

Jumper not cardigan!

It's a shame because i really liked the design.

I don't like spending lots on mat clothes either but it was suuuper cheap quality with boohoo. I ended up returning all of it. Some of the stuff didn't even really seem to fulfill maternity requirements either, eg dresses that would def be far too short down the front once bump gets bigger.

The pyjamas are really comfy but all the dresses I bought I returned!

I found Dorothy Perkins and Newlook the best for maternity.

Avoid light colours.

I have bought pink and blush and cream things and the quality is so terrible that it shows off every lump and bump, and seam of tights or underwear.

I have black dresses and joggers that I am happy with

JemimaTiggywinkle · 03/04/2022 20:19

Really bad quality, see through, weird tiny sizing for some things.

hmmmmm123 · 03/04/2022 20:22

I have ordered a fair amount of maternity clothes from bohoo and either have returned it all or put it in my wardrobe and never worn it.

The quality is shit and the sizing was awful every time.

Mummywantsaweewee · 03/04/2022 20:26

I bought dungarees and t shirts from there.
One set of t shirts was ok. Not super flattering but fit ok and long enough. They were black and grey ribbed.
One set (black and pink) was so short it didn’t cover bottom of my tummy and too small to wear beyond 7/8 months.
Dungarees were awful. Sent back.

Took a chance on their maternity leggings, they were ok but not great...

HeyBlaby · 03/04/2022 23:42

Thanks everyone, looks like I'll be giving them a miss!

I bought boohoo tall maternity leggings. No where else seems to do tall maternity...the leggings were comfy and lasted throughout no problems
