It seems high? Having a major wobble thought I'd be okay after having my scan but seems my anxiety has found something else to worry about now!
After googling it seems this measurement is the higher end ? Can anyone help who knows abit more than me please ?

3.5mm is high. 3mm is pretty high. It’s on a sliding scale so there is no definite high or low. It also is higher as you go further along in. gestation. So if over 13 weeks I would expect 2.4 as the norm. But no I would not be concerned.

Sorry should have said in my op I'm 12+6 and had scan today

Just had a look at our old notes and at 12 weeks 6 days my baby's NT measurement was 2.4. Exactly the same date and measurement as yours! He's a happy healthy 10 week old!

@Trinacham oh this makes me feel abit better! Congrats on your new baby

It's completely normal. Mine was 3.2mm at 13+1 and perfectly normal.

Sure my DS was 2.7 ?
We were high on every bloody thing Sad
Can you send away for a Harmony test asap?

We were 1:63 for Downs but baby is a year old now and fine

Bless you n bump- its a stressful wait. Flowers

No just can't afford it atm. And most people have said it's within normal range so trying to take comfort in that. Hopefully blood results will come back fine 🤞🏻 this is our rainbow baby so I'm very anxious about everything

My baby’s was 3.5 which is just when they look in to things. I had harmony and an amniocentesis and was all fine. He’s a huge chubby six month old now! Your NT is totally normal. Try not to worry too much!

I do remember worrying about it myself but after doing lots of searching I came to realise it isn't a worrying measurement, just a bit bigger than average, and many people had much larger measurements 🙂 congratulations and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

isthishigh · 03/04/2022 20:42

I did say to the sonographer is that okay and she said it's within normal range but it's a combined result so she wasn't really very reassuring

Hi, I hope you don't mind me messaging/ asking but how did you get on? I had my 12 week scan on Friday and my measurement was 3.3 which I feel very anxious about as it's the higher end of the scale :( . I'm 30 years old x
