30 weeks sharp pain

Had a very very sharp pain for 1-2 minutes at the top of my bump this morning. Almost like a stitch but I was sitting down and it was so bad I was not able to do anything for the duration.

Baby is usually very active and although I have felt him since it’s no where near as much as usual. I’ve got a Doppler machine at home and his heart is fine but I’m torn between going in to be seen and thinking they will think I’m being neurotic as when I went in at 23 weeks after a bad stomach trauma and cramping they acted as if I was wasting their time.

I would be contacting triage/ midwife to get yourself checked over. Dopplers can be good but if you’re in the uk then nhs don’t recommend using them as it can stop you getting help that you and the baby might need.
Don’t worry about being neurotic. They would rather you were seen and okay!

Go in, and if they act like you're wasting their time ask them if they've read the Ockenden report. You have every right in this world to be seen and treated with dignity. Do not let them fob you off.

Please go in to the hospital, exactly same thing happened to me at 30 weeks. Mine turned out to be a placenta abruption.. I had a emergency c sec at 31 weeks.
