Ultrasound included from a private scan we had done by our neighbour who is a midwife sonographer, and she was pretty certain on what sex she thinks our baby is. Thought I'd see if you guys agree 😊 I was 12+1 at this scan.

The nub is girly but sadly all nubs look girly at first and the nub theory is not very accurate until 12w5d. So yes it’s girly but very chance that will look boyish if you go back in a few days

Looks girl but the nub has time to rise until about 13 weeks I believe.

Oh I’ve got mine on the 19th too! I’m sure mine is a boy from the “nub theory”. I sent the picture off to two “nub experts” and one said girl, one said boy haha. So you simply never know!

I think that second scan may look boyish. But not sure but I think so. I’m having my gender scan next week I’ll be 15 weeks. I’m too impatient lol

Just to update saying I had my gender scan at 16 weeks today and it's a GIRL 💗💗💗

@Butterscotchbaby it's definitely made it feel more real! Particularly for my husband, I feel like partners have a harder time feeling like it's real because it's obviously not happening in their own body but he's definitely more excited since we found out 😊 xx

Hi everyone, just came across this thread. Im 13+3 today and baby is actually faceplanting so sonographer has turned the image around. Any thoughts on nub theory? I cant work it out 🙈
