Isofix bases...

We've bought a second-hand Cosatto Giggle 2 pram/pushchair/car seat bundle and I'm trying to figure out if we have to get the Cosatto isofix base or if there's a cheaper universal one we could buy. I've searched online but don't seem to be able to get a straight answer. Any advice would be appreciated 😊 thanks

I dont know about isofix bases. But you should never use a second hand car seat. You can never grantee their integrity. I buy virtually everthing for my daughter and soon to be twins second hand. Except for car seats and mattresses.

Thanks, it's from someone we know and all the research I've done states if you know the full history of the car seat and can ascertain that it 100% has not been in a crash, they are fine to use second hand.

That's fine then, sorry just wanted to make you aware. But afraid I can't be any help with the isofix base as never used that car seat

As far as I know car seats only normally fit on their own bases.

We have a giggle mix, we bought a second cosatto hold isofix base for under 100 from Winstanleys if that helps at all.

We are looking to buy a car / van which can fit at least 4 isofix bases - does anyone have any recommendations?
