37 weeks, labour signs? Second baby

This is my second baby, I’m currently 37 weeks :)
I can tell my bump has dropped, I’m able to eat more and breathe easier, I’m getting shooting pains down there when I shift position and period type cramp pains which isn’t the normal for me, so I don’t think they’re the usual braxton hicks because those usually get better when I move positions but they aren’t getting more regular either. Im pretty in tune with my body and come of the cramps are pretty painful, not extremely so, but with my first child I didn’t realise I was having contractions for a few hours at the beginning (I thought I just needed the toilet honestly, until the contractions kicked up and my waters broke) so I’m unsure how very early labour contractions feel.
My lower back is hurting more than usual too, so I’m pretty sure baby is very low at the moment so I’m impatiently waiting to meet my DD, because the SPD I’m having is making this pregnancy absolutely unbearable compared to my first :(

Anyone have symptoms similar to these before labour? If so, how long before you went into labour?

Probably not what you want to hear but I had cramping and a lot of backache plus a myriad of other symptoms from about 37/38 weeks with DS1 and didn’t go into labour until 41. Labour started with show and waters breaking. Near the end with current pregnancy and been having similar for about a week now.

Fingers crossed you’re not waiting too much longer.
