Pain in side. Is this normal?

Hey,
I’m 17 weeks pregnant and keep getting a sharp pain in my lower left hand side. The first time it happened I almost fell down with it, it came on like an intense dull cramp and went away about 5 minutes later. Now it keeps coming back but feels more like a stitch that comes and goes in severity and goes through to my back. Is this round ligament pain?

I’ve never felt anything like this and it’s making me concerned. I’ve been trying to get through to my maternity triage for 2 hours now and I keep getting “you are number 1 in the queue” and then cut off after 7 minutes which is getting really frustrating.

Is this normal?

Thanks! I did in the end and they basically said to take paracetamol. I’m sure it’s all normal it’s just unsettling when I’ve never felt things like this before!
