How did you get your medical abortion?

I'm finding it extremely hard to get to speak to anyone about terminating a very early pregnancy. My loc hospital doesn't have a self referral scheme, you have to go via another hospital and there's a waiting list.
BPAS are not providing NHS services in my area. I've not tried Marie Stopes yet but they're next on the list.
My doctor doesn't deal with this at all.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, its a travesty that abortions are not more easily accessible. I needed one for medical reasons and it was really hard/there was a long wait everywhere so I ended up going privately via a consultant at the Lindo wing. I hope Marie Stopes can help you. Is it worth going on the waiting list for the other hospital in case of cancellations? I assume with covid you might get one..

Usually you have to ring your gp and they will give you the number to call.
This sounds very complicated for you. I think the sooner you go the better as you say there is a waiting list there usually is anyways 2-4 weeks for the surgical but the medical is usually much faster as if your super early it can usually be done at home
