Wondered if anyone has had tonsillitis in pregnancy?
I'm 16 weeks and felt a bit off today - pain swallowing, tired, headache, bit of a temperature. Covid test was negative. Just looked into my mouth in the bathroom mirror with a bright light and can see white spots on the tonsils, had tonsillitis a few times already over the years so seems to be that.
I'm going to ring the GP first thing and take a paracetamol now but has anyone had the same and did the GP prescribe antibiotics?
Any home remedies in the meantime? Having plenty of water, some hot lemon and honey.
