14+4 - Constant spotting and yellow discharge

This is my second pregnancy and I’m currently 14+4. Never had these issues when I was pregnant with DC1.

Since I was 7 weeks pregnant I’ve had spotting on and off ranging from pink to brown in colour, sometimes a rusty orange colour. I had one big red bleed at 7+6 and had an early scan, everything looked ok and everything was fine at my scan at 13+1. I’m still spotting now, it’s every single day at some point, usually afternoon/evening. If I don’t get the spotting then I have a deep yellow coloured snot like discharge instead. I mentioned it at my scan and my midwife appointment but it’s constantly shrugged off as being normal. There is nothing on the ultrasound indicating what it could be. I felt quite crampy with it on Monday so phoned the community midwife number. She sounded concerned and told me to rest as much as possible for a few days and if it’s not eased off she will refer me to EPU for an examination. She also mentioned possible infection from the dark yellow discharge.
It’s still the same so I’ve phoned back today, spoken to another midwife who read my notes and said that no referral is needed because there’s no bright red bleeding.

Not really sure what to do now. It’s been going on for over 7 weeks. I’ve never had an internal examination or checked for any infection. I’ve even started panicking that maybe my cervix is slightly open or something. Anyone had similar and been ok?

I spotted / bled throughout both my pregnancies. With my first right up to 18/19 weeks and this one seems to have stopped around 10/11 weeks. I'm currently 18 weeks with the second.

First is a happy healthy 2 year old and second one had a scan at 17+3 and all was well. Bleeding during pregnancy is clearly normal for me.

Discharge sounds a bit odd - I do always get quite a lot of discharge during pregnancy with nothing concerning really. Sorry it's a bit grim to discuss but does it smell?

@koalalala thanks for replying :) no it doesn’t smell. I did wonder if I had thrush and the irritation of it was causing the spotting so took a pessary a couple of weeks ago but it’s not made any difference unfortunately. I just feel constantly anxious about it but hopefully all will be ok.
