CERM TRIAL. Misscariages

Hi, I’m 23 and had 3 early misscariages.
I have been invited to do the CERM trial for endometritis. Has anyone done this trial ?
I’ve heard people not doing the trial and purchasing the antibiotics and taking them themselves just incase, has anyone also done this ?

Hi Olivia, I am so sorry for your losses.
I’ve had 4 early miscarriages and one MMC this past week at 9 weeks and was diagnosed with endometritis after having retained tissue tissue following a DnC and am currently on of antibiotics for it. I am from Australia and haven’t heard about this trial so I just wanted to write on here to see how you go with it if you decide to do it. I’m very interested.
Wishing you all the best xxx

@Ms8804
Hi so I’m from the UK. So they take a biopsy and send it off, if your positive for endometritis, then they either give you doxycycline or a fake version of the antibiotics neither yourself or the nurses know Wich tablet they give you.

Some women don’t have the biopsy and do the trial, some people go off there own back and order doxycycline themselves and take it for the off change that they are positive xx
