Am 7 weeks pg and as yet have has no ms to speak off. Mild nausea only occasionally. I had pretty bad ms with my DD so was expecting to get it this time. Someone has told me that no ms is a bad sign. Anyone know if this is the case?

I never has morning sickness with DS. That "no ms is a bad sign" is complete crap. It will differ from pregnancy to pregnancy (although on old wives tale front was told no ms meant a boy)

Dont worry i have had no morning sickness. I was also worried but just had a scan at 8 weeks and all is fine. I am very tired though!

belgo · 07/01/2008 13:49

dancereandprancer- I had awful morning sickness with dd1, from 5 to 35 weeks, but with dd2, only some m/s between 8 and 14 weeks or so.

Lcy- I'm glad your scan went well.

Dancer...i have never suffered with morning sickness and have two beautiful and healthy children.
I didn't even get a wave of nausea!

Congratulations by the way

I had no morning sickness with my first pregnancy and this time around it was unbearable. Pregnancys like children are all diffrent. Count yourself lucky and don't worry about it

Pinner35 · 07/01/2008 13:54

I had no MS either.....and I also had someone told me this is a bad sign which is never particularly helpful. I'm currently 24 weeks so I would stop worrying.

HTH xx

Also never had morning sickness, and I have two boys, so is this old wives tale true then?

Good luck with the pregnancy

dancerandprancer · 07/01/2008 13:57

Thanks all. Difficult whenever you hear about the old wives tales to remember most are crap. Should count myself lucky. Having said that, I will probably wake up tommorrow with the worst sickness ever so not counting my chickens yet.
