Bleeding on norethisterone

Hi everyone I've been on norethisterone for around 4 weeks for travelling a few days ago I started getting cramps and had bit brown spotting last night there was red when I wiped and I'm now having brown staining and feel like my period is coming
I'm really hoping this dosnt start as I am house bound with my period on first few days
Anyone know why this is happening and should I keep taking the tablets will it stop

Have you missed any pills? Even if you take norethisterone, you can still have spotting around the time of your period. Keep taking them as prescribed otherwise if you stop for more than 2-3 days you will have a period.

My period still came when on these, took for holiday. Xx

Will the spotting just stop or will I have a period scared I'll start bleeding or just keep staining

Still having dark brown discharge it's not much only coming out when I'm wiping but scared this will turn into bleeding will it stop in a day or two because I'm still taking norethisterone

It shouldn’t turn into a period if you carry on taking the tablets daily.
