BP normal but keeps rising

Hi guys. I had a mw appointment yesterday at 31+2. Pre pregnancy my BP was on the low side (100-110) and the highest its been during pregnancy until yesterday is 118/72. It had dipped as low as 100/70 ish earlier in my pregnancy.

Yesterday it came up as 130/60. Obviously it's still normal and the mw didn't seem in the slightest bit worried, but it's not far off a high reading of 140 plus. It's obviously gone up significantly although I feel perfectly healthy and have no worrying symptoms.

Would you guys worry about this? Do I push for closer monitoring? My worst fear is losing my baby because something was dismissed.

I’d be more worried about the bottom number, so no, I wouldn’t worry. Worrying will put your blood pressure up !

You don't need to worry about that blood pressure reading, it is ok.

I had pre-eclampsia and mine rose a bit and then shot up by 38 weeks. I don't think you need to worry with those readings but you can buy BP machines to check more regularly than your midwife appointments to give you peace of mind? Just make sure you're really calm before taking readings.

For context my top number was over 180 at one point, can't even remember what the bottom number was!
