I’m 17 weeks pregnant and getting on & off period cramps, is this normal at this stage? I’m panicking about it ☹️

Thank you x

@CLC22 I'm not sure as never been that pregnant. However if you're worried please speak to your dr or midwife or ring 111. Always worth getting any of your concerns checked out. Fingers crossed everything is ok.

Really normal! Mine are easing off seemingly at 18 weeks but have had plenty, especially evenings/nights.

I'm 17w on Friday and I have had some bad cramps this morning. I read that between weeks 16 and 20 the baby doubles in size so I'm guessing it's just the ligaments stretching

Thank you all so much for commenting and giving me peace of mind, most noticeable ones for far but that makes sense @Carebear99 😊

Is it quite low down and on either side, then across? I get this sometimes, consultant said it's the ligaments stretching and movement of the pelvis

Ligaments stretching. Very normal. But do call your midwife if you are concerned
