Anyone else had this in their third trimester ??

Hi, so currently I am 32 weeks pregnant and for the past 5 days I have been experiencing this weird upper stomach discomfort I can’t explain it it’s not like pain or stretching but very uncomfortable. It is constantly there and throughout the day constantly making me feel veryyyyyyyy sick but not throwing up. It has been non stop for 5 days and I have seen my midwife and called the maternity help line but they just said it’s due to baby growing. At night times it seems to get worse. Anyone else had this in their third trimester ?

Sounds like acid reflux/heartburn. You can take gaviscon/similar for it. I have it at the moment too.

Thankyou I will definitely give that a try , it’s so annoying as it’s constant discomfort and nausea.

I had this. Caused by heartburn. Eventually got a prescription for Omeprazole which fixed it unless I forgot to take it. Went away for good as soon as baby arrived.

Aw Thankyou sounds like I must be getting heartburn , I’ll try get gaviscon today see if that helps and then contact my gp tomorrow to get a prescription.
