What was your implantation bleeding like?

I'm pretty sure I am overthinking as I'm only a week late and DH and I haven't had sex for maybe 2 weeks.

I've got period cramps (not particularly mild OR intense), and rather than a normal period right now, very dark discharge over the last 2 days.

I posted yesterday about getting a positive pregnancy test. The problem is I am still having the cramping and spotting I had described in this OP. So that's at least 4 days with the spotting actually getting heavier.

I've got an appointment at the early pregnancy unit tomorrow but just wondering - hoping really - if anyone has experienced this and come through OK.

Mine was quite heavy and lasted about 4 days. It was like a light period I suppose. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time and just assumed I wasn't. Got a positive pg test about 4 weeks later (by which time I had started to feel sick).

How many weeks pregnant were you by the time you found out @A580Hojas?

It was on 6dpo and lasted one trip to the bathroom and it was was one tiny pink spot of blood

I never had any. Three pregnancies, not once did I have implantation bleeding.

Mine was light brown when I wiped and lasted about a day x

Noticed mine in 2 or 3 pregnancies. (All ended in MC, but still had implantation bleeding). Both times, it was a tiny, 2mm speck on toilet paper. Nothing on underwear, nothing heavier. 1st time was a pink speck, 2nd time was more yellowy/brown colour.

Hmm. Mine is quite a lot of dark brown, enough to make a mark on a pad. I will not hold out much hope.

Never had implantation bleeding, but wow the pain of implantation was really severe for me! It was central and intense! I nearly fell off the couch it was so strong. It was a very unique and sharp pain

In my first pregnancy I had dark brown spotting when I wiped and over 24 hours there was a 50p pence brown blood mark on a pad. Other 2 days this became less and less.
The day after I got my first BFP, I never tested before as I assumed it was the start or my period.

Hi @BrimfulOfBaba hope you are feeling ok. My implantation bleeding was around 7/8 DPO and was a pink tinge when I wiped, very fresh blood for about 2 days. Nothing more than that, no pain etc. xx

@spidersenses same here with the pain. It was just after Xmas and I thought I was due on (been ttc for 20 years I did not think I could be pregnant). I had to use a heat patch on that area and ibuprofen as I was in agony on the left hand side of my pelvis. When I found out I was pregnant several weeks later I realised this was implantation pain
