I'm 31 weeks with my first and I am so exhausted and I'm crying because it's too much. Naps don't help, if anything they make me feel worse when I wake up. I'm up early everyday as my body doesn't let me lie in for some reason.

I do have anaemia since mid pregnancy and taking ferrous fumarate for it.
I had awful energy in first trimester alongside sickness, felt great in second trimester and now I feel constantly tired.
I feel so tired my vision is blurry, even writing this. It makes me feel nauseous.

I'm feeling so emotional and I keep wondering the last week what the hell I've done.

It doesn't help that all my friends are telling me that the tiredness will be worse when she's here, I can barely cope with the tiredness now :(

Any tips please to get energy back.

Sorry I don't know if I can help, but it won't be worse when the baby is here. People who haven't had debilitating pregnancy fatigue don't quite understand this, it is not just being tired (e.g. from lack of sleep etc). That is almost quite a relief because at least you do get some rest in between feeds etc!

I assume you've spoken to your midwife about it already?

Agree with all of this.

Absolutely won't be worse when the baby is there! I had debilitating exhaustion, brain fog and headaches throughout my first pregnancy and honestly having a newborn was a walk in the park in comparison, I felt like myself again basically as soon as he was born. (He was breastfed though, as after the pregnancy getting up at night for feeds was a definite "no" for me.)
