Ds tested positive for Covid last Sunday, I tested positive Tuesday. Just getting over it and now he's got chickenpox ! Spots just appearing before my eyes !
I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and been worried due to the Covid but now worried because of chickenpox. Pretty sure I've had it when younger and I had shingles last October but still freaking out. What are the risks if I didn't have it ??

How awful! My colleague's son ended up with the same, covid and chicken pox at the same time. I'm pretty sure you can't get shingles if you've never had chicken pox so if you had shingles last year you should be fine

You've definitely got chickenpox antibodies if you've had shingles so no harm. You get shingles secondary to chickenpox although you can catch chicken pox for first time from someone who has shingles. It's all on the NHS website.

Midwife just told me just because I've had shingles doesn't mean I've had chickenpox 🤔 anyway she did say on my 12 week scan I can ask for them to check for chickenpox antibodies. Pretty sure I've had them when little but would be nice to know for certain. She wasn't concerned anyway as said it's very early pregnancy or late pregnancy there is risk. Still doesn't help my anxiety though which has been ridiculous this pregnancy so far !!
