Anyone else had a placenta like this?

Hi all
I’ve been for a scan today (private one) and my placenta looked very different than in my first pregnancy. I feel it looks a strange shape and baby looks very squished against it. Anyone is had anything similar?

Sorry - no experience, but did the sonographer mention it to you at all?

Can you ask follow up questions? I've videoed a couple of my scans and sometimes things from the background look like they're in a different position further forward as they move the scan in and out. Best to confirm with the sonographer if you're worried.

I said the the sonographer is that my placenta to which she confirmed it was. I then asked if it was normal and she said she doesn’t give any advice as it’s not a medical scan. Then just said at the end of the scan baby was moving well and heartbeat was normal.

Do you have any more medical scans booked? I suspect it is just the lie of the the baby and the fact it is a 2D pic of a 3D thing if that makes sense. But would get it checked by a medical professional.
