Period like cramps.

I don't remember them being this awful. Really feel like my period is going to start. I'm only about 4ish weeks. The cramps have stopped but were intense earlier. Around my back/front and down my left leg!

Can any reassure me please.

I’m still cramping sometimes at 18 weeks! I find it hard to believe at times that my period isn’t coming. And my sister in her second pregnancy (before she knew she was pregnant) had cramps so severe she went to the hospital!! They instantly suspected pregnancy and turned out she was 5 weeks. There are no guarantees in pregnancy but cramps alone aren’t necessarily a bad sign.

I had cramps during most of my pregnancy, just felt like I was about to start a period. We weren’t trying to conceive and initially I didn’t know I was pregnant so I didn’t take much notice. It’s your insides stretching in most cases I believe. I had braxton hicks at the end, so it was a very crampy pregnancy!

Thank you ladies. You've put my mind at ease! I've been cramping all night at work. So I've been over thinking it.

I had bad cramps early on sometimes I thought my period was coming, I get lower back ache and it can run down to my leg so I was convinced it was my period - 22.5 wks and I still get aches and pains - even posted about it recently so it can be very normal

I would find the days I didn't have anything that made me worry more as I then I didn't feel pregnant and was then posting about having no or little symptoms ! But they did come and it's just one hurdle after another - take each day at a time
