Hi everyone
I'm currently on norethisterone to delay my periods while travelling to stay with family
It's been working great on Wednesday night I forgot the one I take before bedtime and yesterday and today I've had slightly peach discharge and feel like my period is coming
Will I start bleeding now or will this go away again as I'm still taking the tablets or is this pains because I would normally have took my period now
Really worried I'm about to take my period as mine are so heavy and painful I'm housebound
Anyone have any experience can let me know please tia

I think that's the mini pill?

If so, then it is normal and your period may start. It was one of the reasons I stopped the mini pill years ago! If I didn't take it at the same time every day I would start bleeding the way I did with my withdrawal bleed when I'd been on the combined pill. My periods were heavy as well so it was awful!

Ah sorry, just had a Google and you're right. I just seen it said it was a progesterone pill and assumed it was a mini pill.

It does saying that spotting and breakthrough bleeding can be common when taking it so hopefully it's just spotting you're getting and it won't turn in to a proper period

I've taken these a couple of times and I started my period around 3 days after completely stopping them. Hopefully just one missed one should cause your period to come as long as you've still been taking them. The second time I took them I got cramps as a side effect so maybe it's just a side effect from them 🤞🏼
