Pelvic pressure

Hi- ftm here if it isn't obvious 😅

I am currently 35+3, baby has been head down since around 31 weeks, midwife appt last week he was not engaged but still head down.

A few times in the past week or so if I've done quite a bit of walking I've felt like a grinding pressure on top of my pelvis, sit down for a bit and it goes away.

Today- even if I'm sat on the sofa, birth ball, garden chair whatever I've been having the same grinding pressure but it feels like it's ON THE TOP of my pelvis if that makes sense. Is this the baby trying to engage? Or am I just breaking apart 😅

If it is baby trying to engage, will he do it eventually as it feels like he's pushing against the outside of the bone on the top rather than trying to go in- or is that just what it feels like? Will the pressure stop/ change when he engages? Will it be obvious?

Sorry for the stupid questions I'm just so uncomfortable atm x

It could be pelvic girdle pain.
Since around 30 weeks I’ve had really bad pains in my hips, pelvic area and legs. After speaking to midwife they said it was pelvic girdle pain. I could be referred to a physio but I’ve not got long left so there’s no point adding myself to the list now.
Remember your body is still preparing for labour and all the changes so there will be some pressure and pain.
I’d contact your midwife and let them know how you are feeling!
