Spotting

Hi, so I'm pregnant with second child. I had a private early scan at 8.3 weeks and all was looking ok. I had some spotting (bit of red then light brown discharge) over a couple of days just when I wiped at around 10 weeks.
I've now read that a lot of people who have had missed miscarriages had some brown spotting so am now really worrying. My 12 week scan has just been pushed back another week so even longer to wait. Do you think it will be bad news. Thanks for reading

I'm sorry youre in this situation. It's a very anxious time & probably nothing will put your mind at rest.

I bled from 5 weeks - 9/10 weeks on and off spotting. 7 week & 12 week scan showed baby was fine. I had an area of bleeding picked up on a scan but not near the baby. Had gone by 12week.

I'm still anxious now waiting for midwife to check heartbeat / 20 week scan. 6th April for heartbeat and 19th for scan. I'm 17 weeks now & starting to feel flutters (2nd pregnancy) & I still worry what if I'm wrong or if it's been ages with nothing!

I bled in a similar way with my first but worse. He's a healthy 2 year old!
