Booked a private scan

So I finally booked a private Reassurance scan for Tuesday.
I'm roughly 9 weeks pregnant. What should I expect.
I'm petrified they won't find anything or I've had a missed miscarriage again!
Need some Reassurance.... xx

I'm currently 10w3d
I had a private scan at 7w6d due to 9 miscarriages just needed some reassurance
Could see a strong heart beat definitely don't regret it.

Had a nhs scan at 9w3d and baby had developed so much more! Strong heart beat.

Unfortunately I can't give you much reassurance lovely I was also so worried I didn't expect good news at all but all was fine!

Omg your scan pictures are beautiful! I'm so excited but also terrified! I always expect the worse but I've had not bleeding or pains so fingers crossed. And thank you so much for replying x

I was petrified before mine too! I had an internal scan and it was honestly fine - had convinced myself beforehand that there would be nothing there though! This was mine at 8+3 x

This was my 8 week private scan ❤️ Do not regret an early scan at all, it helped so much with my anxiety!

Early scans all the way! I had 3 by my 12 wks scan don't care that's obsessive it worked well for me - I'm now 22 wks and wouldn't have changed snythinh for the world

My ivf clinic did 2 I must add
One viability at 6+4 just to check it was there
Then another at 8wks

I only booked a private one at 11 wks as my partner simply couldn't make them and my 12wk one wasn't until 13wks

I had an early scan at around 8weeks as I’d previously had an miscarriage and found it very reassuring to see baby and see the heart beating. The sonographer was excellent and if there had been any issues I felt the clinic was professional enough to support me with the next steps.

I have to say I did then still fret a lot between that scan and my 12 week nhs one - I was convinced I would have a missed miscarriage. (All was fine and baby is nearly 9months old now 🥰)

Thank you all so much! Will I have to have a vaginal scan at well nearly 10 weeks? (I'll be somewhat like 10ish weeks by the time of the scan)

Usually abdominal at that stage, mine was at 8+4, they may switch to vaginal if you are earlier and they need to see better

I hope they don't need to do a vaginal scan! Everytime I've had one, guarantee I'd bleed that night so I will be refusing one if that's the case.. I've come down with a horrendous sore throat and burning chest now so hopefully I'll be much better for Tue. I've done several covid tests and there all negative! But now I'm a little bit poorly my anxiety is through the roof..! Xx
