So formula box says up to a 2 week old 3 scoops to 3ozs, the Tommee Tippee Prep Machine only goes to a minimum 4ozs what would be best way to work this out, would you make up 3 scoops and use 4oz water and then only feed baby 3ozs of it

No, it is one scoop to one ounce of water so you need to make 4 scoops in 4oz and feed the baby what ever baby will take. The figures on the packaging are only a guideline.

I always made 4oz bottles. There's a lot of waste at the beginning but not much you can do about it really.

I just made the 4oz to begin with. Some got wasted at the start, but It wasn't long until she was on 4oz!

No! You absolutely cannot ever do this, it's really important to use 1 scoop to 1oz of water and you must never dilute it more than the instructions say. It's dangerous for your baby to have formula made with too much water.

You'll need to use 4 scoops and 4oz of water and just chuck away what isn't drunk at each feed.

I used pre made bottles until mine was closer to finishing 4oz as there was so much waste

Glitterbug86 · 24/03/2022 12:59

You could make a 6oz bottle and pour half into another bottle and store in the fridge for up to 24hrs. Reheat for next feed. It's annoying the machine only starts at 4

Does anyone know if you can just put cold tap water in the Tommee Tippee Prep Machine, and if so how much? Or does it not matter?
