Fragmin injections in pregnancy

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and have been on fragmin injections since 9 weeks.

Up until now I’ve been injecting into my lower stomach no issues.
I’m a plus size girl so always have had enough fat to inject into. - but for the last 2 weeks baby girl has started kicking and I’m petrified that she is going to kick where I am injecting and impale herself on the needle. Have any other women had these inejctions and managed to inject into the stomach without issues up until birth??
I have tried injecting into my thighs and physically can’t get the needle in for some reason.
I am very worried about how I’m going to inject once baby girl is even bigger with your hurting her.

I had these at 38 weeks (and JUST finished them yesterday, now six weeks postpartum).

I only ever did my thighs as I was worried about injecting into my tummy with baby girl there. Absolutely ridiculous, I know, as there is no way it would ever by anywhere near her! I too am a plus sized girl...

If you get a good pinch of fat on your thigh and angle the needle slightly, I found it goes in easier.
Also, make sure your thigh is relaxed. If the muscle is taught, then again it can make it tighter and harder to get the needle in.

But of course, continue injecting into your tummy if that doesn't work because your little baby will be absolutely fine with it! She is well padded in there and although the injection feels huge when you're having to stab it into your own skin; it's no way long enough to reach her.
