Do you get this at the 20 week scan, or do I need to make an additional appointment to receive this? The phone line for my local midwife is constantly engaged and I can’t find an answer on Google. Thank you!

Pretty sure I got mine at my 20 week appointment after the anomaly scan.

I got mine from my midwife at my 28 week appointment.

Mine was never at the 20 wks scan it was at the 24 wk midwife appointment. If it’s not your second baby then you don’t tend to have a 24wk appointment and you will need to ring and I got mine posted out

In my area the community midwife gives you this the appointment following the 20 week scan. With Xmas mine was scheduled for 26 weeks but I needed it sooner for work so I called her and she posted it out for me 😊

Just checked the appointment time line I have and matb1 is given at 25 week appointment it seems. I defo had mine earlier the first time though.

Lovely thank you all, first baby so no idea about these things. If I don’t get it at the scan appt I’ll keep trying the midwife. Would really like to get everything official with work ASAP so I’d be happy to get this next box ticked :)

Just got mine today from the midwife. 25 weeks.

I asked the sonographer at my 20 week scan when I would get it and she said to go hover where the midwives are and ask them for it and they sorted it out for me within 5 minutes :)

I received mine at one of the standard appointments. Didn't need to ask for it
