Option of sweep at next growth scan when I am 38+1… advice!

Hey all! Had a growth scan today at 35+1, baby is estimated 6lb 11oz currently and following the 95th centile line perfectly.

Next growth scan is in exactly 3 weeks & consultant has said I will be offered a sweep if I want.

This is my first baby & I will be 38+1… would you accept or decline at that gestation if baby is still showing no signs of wanting to come? (Which I doubt she will as I will only be 38+1 with first baby so maybe pointless?)

I was 1-2cm dilated at 38 weeks with my first and they did a sweep as I was being induced at 39 weeks anyway.

Didn't do anything but also wasn't the horrendous experience a lot of women say it is!
