Short Cervix/ Cervical Incompetence...Should I be worried

Hello,

I got diagnosed with a Bicornuate uterus at my dating scan. They wanted to check my cervix length as apparently that can go hand in hand with cervical incompetence.

2 weeks ago at 16 weeks they measured my cervix for the first time and it was 29mm. Consultant said it was above the minimum of 25mm so that was great. Said they'd remeasure my at 20 weeks. I said could I have progesterone as a precaution in case it shorterned, he said there's not much evidence as to progesterone (I've found loads Hmm but prescribed me 200mg pessary's if it would help with my anxiety Hmm .

I'm 18 weeks today though and am worried as I'm not being checked again for another 2 weeks, that'll be 4 weeks since the measurement was last checked. I keep seeing people with short cervix's being scanned every 2 weeks and initially my midwife said the consultant would measure every 2 weeks.

Should I be trying to get them to remeasure me this week? Does anyone else have experience of this? 29mm is still short, it should be 32mm minimum apparently?
