Sweep at 40 weeks?

Hi all,

I’m 40 weeks tomorrow and have a midwife appointment on Weds, so I’ll be 40+2

At my last MW appointment she said that they don’t offer sweeps until 41 weeks however I’ve read online if this is your first baby (🙋🏼‍♀️) then you should get offered at sweep at 40 weeks.

Can I ask her for this on Wednesday or even just ask for a cervical examination? I’m desperate to know if I’m even dialated at all and I just would like a better chance of going into labour naturally rather than being induced
