Burning pain in my left hip into my inner thigh :(

I am 24 weeks today and have suuffered from lower back pain since 4 weeks but to day i have developed a burning pain in my left hip but it goes across my belly to my belly button and then it goes down my inner thigh and I feel like I have a dead leg thankfully the baby is very active so I know he is ok but I dont know if I can take another 16 weeks of this

Sciatica maybe? From the baby squishing your nerve?

I had something similar at the end of pg - sort of like electric shocks running down one side IYKWIM.

Do you think is something i should tell the midwife?

Yes, though she may not be able to do much - maybe refer you for physio.

Poor you - hopefully m/w will be able to refer you for physio which should help.

I never had physio as was so pregnant by the time it came on that the appointment would not have come through til after dd was born!
