Covid at 8wks

Hi all, I am 8wks 3days after TTC for 14months. This is number 1 and I am nearly 40. Had my viability scan last Monday and all looked great for this stage. Unfortunately I tested positive for Covid on Wed. Triple vaxxed. Sods law after avoiding it this long and being in the office throughout the Pandemic. Not overly sick more like a really bad head cold and fatigue. Cannot help but worry that this will cause the baby harm. To this point I have been great with little or no pregnancy symptoms. Has anyone else any experience of Covid in early pregnancy?

No advice but it seems a lot of us are in the same position, I'm 7wks and tested positive yesterday. From what I've read it should be fine but seek advice if you get a fever x x

I had covid at 8wks pregnant and I’m now 35wks. I had 2 really bad days as I could just not function - heavy eyes, body aches, temperature. Didn’t take any medication, stayed in bed. I was fine after. Baby is healthy with no issues. Contact midwife if you’re worried, have breathing issues etc.

Yes I had it in early pregnancy. Both me and baby are fine

I'm just waiting to get it now as my son has tested postive this morning. He slept in my bed last night and it's not like I'm going to shut him away so it seems inevitable

I'm 9+4 and tested positive on Friday. Trying to remain calm and positive x

I had covid at 9weeks last year before any vaccines and was really sick for more than 10 days. My DD was fine and is a very happy 6 month old.

I had it last week at 6 weeks pregnant. Took me a couple of days and then I was better. Fingers crossed I get a good result later in the week on my viability scan.
