Last night after a few drinks, my partner said is it called morning sickness because your always moaning about it

We went out for a meal last night and my partner had his usual drinks with his meal, we came home I was sick again then I do suppose complained about being sick again. So we got onto the subject of morning sickness and he said it’s odd it’s never in the morning that I’m sick I agreed and he then asked me so if it’s obvious not called morning sickness because it always happens in the morning, is it called morning sickness because your always moaning about it?
I don’t know weather this was a joke or if my hormones are playing up but I was a bit annoyed because he’s never been sick because of it so he doesn’t know how it feels so how else would he unless I tell him often how bad the sickness is! Anyone else’s partner come out with insensitive things?

It’s a shit joke OP and you should tell him it’s not funny. If he’s not generally an insensitive twat that I wouldn’t waste anymore energy thinking about it though.

It’s also a crap pun that doesn’t work the way I speak English so unless ´moaning’ and ´morning’ actually sound the same in his dialect then I think he loses extra points because the joke is rather feeble as well as being an insensitive dig at you.
