Hello everyone,
This is my first post here.

I’m 7 weeks pregnant after two miscarriages (1 benighted ovum and 1 unknown)
I had a scan at 6 weeks and everything was fine, we saw the baby’s heartbeat 🥰

When speaking to the consultant she prescribed me cyclogest for 1 month and 150mg of aspirin to start at 8 weeks for a month.

I woke up this morning with very little pregnancy symptoms.. I was having very tender breasts and hunger nausea and tiredness but not extreme was only in the evenings.
Now I’m worried I’m going to have another miscarriage, and even more worried it will be a missed miscarriage as I’m on the cyclogest. I have another scan booked at 9 and a bit weeks. Just going to worry until then, I suppose I will worry the whole way through my pregnancy. I’m hoping all is ok and I’m worrying about nothing but with my losses I didn’t really have symptoms and the very little I did have went as the loss happened. I don’t really know why I’m writing this post as I know not a lot can help only a scan for peace of mind but maybe i just wanted some positive replies to make me feel better lol.

It's really normal for symptoms to come and go so try not to worry (easier said than done). My symptoms died off, then came back, then went back. I'm 20 weeks now and have felt great for a couple of weeks and now back to being sick again! I had reassurance scans too and they did really help me but I was so anxious in between (and still am) x

Thank you for your reply. Hopefully everything is all ok and I’m just being paranoid but I can’t help it after 2 mc.
I’m glad everything is going ok with your pregnancy x

It's natural to be anxious after mc so don't beat yourself up about it. A heartbeat at 6 weeks is a good sign and it will soon be time for your next scan! Xx

Im 10 weeks and remember my symptoms disappearing at 7 weeks. They came back 2 days later and now I'm in hyperemesis hell. It's normal for symptoms to come and go. I know its hard to stay positive when you've had previous losses but try not to worry.

My boobs have actually got a little bit more sore as the day has gone on. I just feel the symptoms are a little bit of reassurance. I know they don’t mean everything will be ok but when I didn’t have any or little last time they kind of put my mind as ease a bit.

I’m 11 weeks now and I have good and bad days and I did go 3 full days where I felt absolutely fine then I was sick again. It’s normal for the symptoms to come and go but mine were pretty constant at the very start from like 5 weeks but then from about 7-8 weeks I get good and bad days

Thanks for sharing your experience maybe my body is just adjusting.

Hi @Number22022. Sorry for your loss. X! I was in a similar position, 2 previous miscarriages and then a pregnancy with initially very strong symptoms but all of mine disappeared around 6/7 weeks, and then i felt totally normal until about 20 weeks (cue horrendous heartburn and constipation!!!). Now have a 10 month old sleeping (for now) next to me. Totally normal for symptoms to ebb and flow, just enjoy feeling symptom free whilst you can. Symptom don’t relate in any way to a healthy pregnancy. Good luck and try to look after yourself c

Ah that’s good to hear! Just can’t help but worry but you just can’t help it can you. I’m trying to think positive 2 and a bit weeks till my next scan. I feel really lucky to get these early ones to check in! I would go out my mind waiting till 12 weeks I think lol x

Why don’t you book yourself a private scan? You will most likely get one tomorrow or Tuesday then that will put your mind at ease

Number22022 · 20/03/2022 09:53

I did think that. I’m going to look into it now.
