Last month around the early February I started having really weird shooting pains in my groin like lightening crotch , it was around predicted ovulation so I thought maybe I had conceived and was implanting early as that’s what I had when I was last pregnant. It made me sit bolt upright in pain like sharp period pains up my front and back . For a few days , then I felt in the shower my gland presumably were up and I had a huge lump in my groin . The dr said let it go down and if it doesn’t come and get it looked at . The lump went down but pain continued into my right hip and got more heavy and already across the bottom of my belly . It’s been like this since the beginning of February . Awaiting bloods .
Had a huge heavy period at the end of feb.

Now on the 18 th of march , according to a clear blue digital I’m 2-3 weeks pregnant , I tested because my ovulation tests never stopped being positive .

Basically I’m worried as to why I’ve been in this pain and felt so unwell for so long yet I’m only a few weeks pregnant AND had a heavy period ?

I think you need to urgent speak to a doctor or EPU and get some blood 48 hours apart to see what exactly is going on in there. Have you done line progression ? You can buy a bunch of tests and take one same time each morning with FMU and see if your lines are getting darker as I assume you won’t be able to speak to a doctor until at least Monday.

@Nikki037297 I have had this for so long I’m surprised the gp wasn’t more concerned honestly . I might take a test today or tomorrow morning if that will work ?

I can see this is confusing! The 2-3 pregnant on a CB is estimated time since conception rather than how many weeks pregnant you are. Pregnancy is always dated since date of last period so you'd be more like 4-5 weeks pregnant. The CB tests cause more confusion and trouble than they are worth! I'd take other tests and if they also confirm you are pregnant then register with your local maternity services and before your booking appt try to see your GP again and work out what's up with the other symptoms rather than rely on the diagnosis of people on MN! You could also get a private scan at 7/8 weeks (by date of your last period not the CB test) for reassurance too

@GrowBabyGrow thank you for this reply . Basically I’m having bloods but In the meanwhile I was hoping people would have some helpful personal experiences to share just so that I could have some peace of mind or reassurance. I am going to ask for an intervaginal scan because obviously something is hurting and it could easily be my ovaries as I’ve got pcos . I am thinking if it’s is 4-5 weeks it is more likely i miscarried and that’s why I’ve been in pain
