Hi ladies,
Has anyone got any experience with being induced at 34 weeks?
I've had a growth scan and the blood flow pressure is high from the cord to the baby. Got another scan and consultant appointment Wednesday but they've told me if it's not changed I'll be induced at 34/35 weeks after steriod injections.
I'm currently 32 weeks and 4 days so feeling a little stressed that baby might be here in the next couple of weeks.

Oh bless you! It is a little daunting when they want to induce you early isn’t it!
I had my baby boy in November and I was induced at 35 weeks due to his growth tailing off and having gestational diabetes. It was literally decided within 2 days of having a scan and we weren’t prepared at all so I can understand how stressed you are feeling! X

My last pregnancy was twins and they were born at 33 weeks 3 days. With this pregnancy being just the one baby I was expecting to carry her a little longer.
They're deciding on wether to induce based on Wednesdays scan. They said the high blood pressure from the cord could cause her to stop growing which has me a little worried about what they might have to say next week x

Is EDF present/positive? EDF is more important indicator than the PI index.

Is your blood pressure, proteine in the urine ok?

They haven't mentioned anything about EDF so not sure what that is. They did say everythings normal except for the blood flow pressure from the cord to the baby x

I had a section at 34 weeks exactly for the same reason. It was not a fun time but we both made it through with the baby spending three weeks in nicu.

I wanted to try induction but my consultant refused as he didn't think the baby would be strong enough.

It sounds like you have already been through the premmie treadmill so you know what that involves.
