DH

I only had my husband.

Whatdramain2022 · 18/03/2022 11:43

I had my ex who was so rude to the midwives that they had to threaten him with being kicked out. My DD had her partner, me and partner's mother. The other grandmother has since died quite young and although it was a bit crowded we are so happy she got to see her only grandchild born.

Whoever will make you feel the most relaxed and comfortable. It’s not a spectator sport, the purpose is not for anyone else to have an “experience”.

I had my DH.

Brideandprejudice · 18/03/2022 11:45

I don't want anybody to go in with me when I'm lucky enough to have a baby.

In my culture men aren't allowed in and I wouldn't want anyone else.

MsSquiz · 18/03/2022 11:49

I just had DH with DD1 and hopefully will have him again with DD2 next month, but if for any reason he can't be there, I'd rather go it alone

CustardGoodJamGoodMeatGood · 18/03/2022 11:52

I had DP with DD, it'll just be him next month with DD2 as well. I wouldn't want anybody else there and I loved having the time just us two both becoming parents and meeting our baby for the first time with nobody else there

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 18/03/2022 11:54

DD1 I had DH
DD2 he wasn't able to be there, so I had my mother.

mummyh2016 · 18/03/2022 12:17

DH. I know a lot of people have their moms as well but mine would drive me mad. She's a very anxious person and I know she would stress me out.

Jfb23 · 18/03/2022 13:20

Just my DH, but that was in peak 2020 restrictions. I'll probably just have DH this time to, but my mum will be a back up. I think it's a nice experience to share with just your partner, but I feel I can be 100% myself around him. The good, the bad and the ugly.
