Migraine

I have in the past suffered with migraine now my migraine mimic stroke symptoms. So if i have one I lose my speech, sight, use of arm and have really bad headache. I had a massive one when 32 weeks pregnant last week it was before growth scan so told my consultant didn't say anything at all . I have since had 2 milder one these 3 are first I have had since been pregnant . I have text my midwife to see what she thinks and booked to see her Monday anyway . Has anyone eles had this

Yes. I suffered with hemiplegic migraines before pregnancy and had quite a few during it too. They didn't have any impact on the baby at all happily. The worst thing was only being able to take paracetamol for the pain. You have my sympathies!

When I spoke to my GP after the birth about my migraines during pregnancy he said he would have been happy if I had continued using my medication..MW had said not to but he said no proven effects to the baby.

My migraines are awful. My face goes numb, my right side feels odd, I have visual disturbances and I get an awful headache. I had a few through pregnancy and they were grim.
I just drink a lot, take paracetamol and try and sleep. They’re very scary.

I am not worried for me as I know I get them . As long as the baby ok I don't mind xxx
