Does this look like colostrum to you?

I breastfed my 3 yo DD until late July when it became too painful due to pregnancy. Am now 37 weeks and starting to harvest colostrum. I’m shocked at how easy it’s been to express, but also it’s quite watery. Do you think it’s likely breast milk as opposed to colostrum? And If that’s the case is there any point expressing?!

When I tried to hand express with my DD it took ages to get the tiniest amount. Today I managed to get 6 syringes in about 30 minutes ..

I can't see the picture but colostrum, just like mature breastmilk, comes in a variety of colours and can be thick and sticky but also thinner. Don't worry, your body knows what it is doing.

I can’t see the picture but you can’t produce breast milk until you’ve had the baby and the placenta detaches. Even then it usually takes a couple of days for the milk to mature. If you’re expressing antenatally it’s definitely colostrum and can be white, clear, yellow or orange and thick and sticky or more watery
