I'm due in the next few weeks and I'm getting really anxious about falling ill before then. I've always had a bit of health anxiety and tend to get overly worried before holidays or other important events. Now covid is around that's just exacerbating things.

We have extended family who have had covid and even though I haven't seen them personally, other people I've been in contact with have. Also worrying about the usual bugs and germs that dc might pick up from school.

Overall just going into panic mode that either I will be ill when trying to give birth or the kids will be ill/isolating and their childcare plans for when I'm in hospital will fall through.

Logically I know there's absolutely no point in stressing but I can't help it. Can someone give me a shake (or some reassurance) please?

Hey lovely, I suffer with health anxiety too so I feel your pain. What I'd try to tell myself is, there's no point stressing over something you have no control over and, at the end of the day, it won't be the end of the world - even if you or the kids did get a bug or catch covid, or anything, things would find a way to work out 💕💕
