No symptoms. Too early?

My period was a day late (March 9th I was 14 DPO) In the past couple months AF has been early so my friend convinced me to take a pregnancy test. Well, I've taken more than one bc I'm in shock. It came out to be positive. I am about 4 weeks and 4 days.

9 years ago I had a miscarriage and in August 2021 (about 7 months) ago I had a miscarriage, blighted ovum. This was my due date month.

I am so nervous that is what's going to happen this time. Any of you girls have positive stories of a healthy pregnancy after something like this? Please share!❤

Also when did your symptoms start? I don't really notice anything as of right now. I was nauseated earlier after taking the test, think it was because of my nerves. When did morning sickness start for you?

When I was pregnant in July I noticed my breasts were a little swollen and my nipples stuck out more. I'm not experiencing any of that with my breasts. Should I be worried?

My main symptom was my missed period. I get nauseated throughout the day but usually more when I don't eat something. I wake up hungry which is unusual to me.

Tell me your stories❤

I was worried that I was symptomless at first but mine didn’t start until around week 7 when I felt really sick and tired. I was just really hungry at the beginning.

Definitely get an early scan for peace of mind. Given your history you may be referred for an early one anyway without having to pay for a private one.

I really hope everything works out for you this time OP, I wouldn’t worry about the lack of symptoms at this point as it’s too early. Most start around week 6 but it was a bit later for me. Good luck! X

Raindrops2015 · 14/03/2022 11:15

Had a lot of pms symptoms round about this time. Lots of back pain and sciatica too so I got an early scan at 6 weeks (it was really reassuring) and morning sickness kicked in 6 weeks. Had a good day yesterday and started freaking out but it's back today again. I'll probably get another scan in 2 weeks to get me through to 12 weeks. I'm in a similar boat to yourself with my history. Congratulations and good luck x

@Moonshine160
Congratulations on your pregnancy! That is me too. I wake up hungry which us unusual. Google says how we are supposed to have food aversion and not want to eat but it's the opposite for me lol I need to eat or I feel nauseated.

I am hoping more symptoms pop up as I get further along. So terrified to go through what I went through in August.

I don't know how you go about getting an early scan. Do I need to talk to my doctor about it? I know I am super early and from what I've read it's common to not have symptoms right now for its so early. I'm just super nervous. Congratulations and good luck to you as well and if you can update me! Would love yo hear about your journey!

I had very bad back pain, cramping that woke me up and one sided pain at times so EPU scanned me to rule out ectopic. That has all eased off now though I still get very painful twinges on one side if I move too fast or cough. That is either ligament or a corpus luteum cyst which they said I had. I'm getting very bad morning sickness now which is reassuring and also hellish.
Keep me posted how you get on x

CSR721 · 14/03/2022 17:09

Hey im 6w today. I've had sore boobs since my missed period and some minor cramping and same as some people have said about feeling really hungry and tired, but no nausea or sickness yet x

BubblyOne00 · 14/03/2022 18:10

According to my app I am 4 weeks 4 days.

All of the tests (6) were take the day after period was due plus a couple throughout the day.

But the last 2 I just took 15 minutes ago and it's super faint.
Should I be worried? Am I losing the baby?

About 8 weeks with my first and 6/7 weeks with my second baby and different symptoms to my first initially.
I had an ectopic before my second baby and decided to pay for an early scan for reassurance.

PeterPomegranate · 14/03/2022 18:23

I never really had bad symptoms in either pregnancy. One day I gagged while brushing my teeth but I wasn’t even sick.

So maybe you’ll be lucky!

My boobs did get massive but that was later.

Again maybe youll be lucky 😂

BubblyOne00 · 14/03/2022 19:03

Only symptom I really have is getting nauseated if I don't eat something and even that comes and goes.

Last July before I miscarried my boobs were slightly bigger and my nipples stuck out more. I dint have that now but after reading some of the girls posts on here about not getting symptoms till later in has made me calm down some.

Just so worried.

I’m 7 weeks. My morning sickness and sore boobs kicked in at 6+4. I had no symptoms until then. 4 weeks is v early for symptoms. Try not to worry 😊 I know it’s v hard.

Sula225 · 14/03/2022 20:34

I had a ruptured ectopic in 2017 & a traumatic mc in 2020. I worried constantly throughout my third pregnancy but DS is now 4 months old, happy & healthy.

I also got my BFP at 4 weeks 4 days & really had no symptoms at that stage. Only missing my period made me take a test. My boobs were really sore but this was normal for me when AF was due. I think I was around 8-9 weeks before I started getting sickness, it was always in the afternoon/evening & usually just once a day.

Wishing you the very best for your pregnancy!

I can't help but time get in my head about not having symptoms. Last July my breasts were slightly bigger and my nipples stuck out more. I don't see that this time. Thought maybe I was further along when I found out last time but I wasn't. Was around the same time. But that pregnancy ended up being a blighted ovum in August.

I took another test this morning. Of course it's positive but doesn't mean everything is going as it should be.

I am also not as nauseated when I don't eat. Friday can't come soon enough for my doctor appointment. Hoping I can get in the follow week for a scan.

I'm so sorry to hear about your traumatic experiences.
I don't really have any symptoms other than missing period. My boobs don't get sore around my period but in July I got pregnant and my boobs were the first thing I noticed bc my nipples stuck out more than usual. I don't have that now.

I don't have that now with this pregnancy. Unfortunately qhen I was pregnant in July, in August I found out it was a blighted ovum. So I am super scared it's gonna happen again

Symptoms didn’t kick in until 6 weeks for me with my second

First time earliest symptoms were extreme tiredness and early nausea. Second time low blood pressure which made me frequently dizzy and lose my balance and just gave me a sense that something was different but I wasn't sure what.

Moonshine160 · 15/03/2022 14:31

@BubblyOne00

I know it’s so hard to relax after previous bad news, but remember that it’s rare for any two pregnancies to be exactly the same. Early pregnancy this second time for me has been completely different to my first pregnancy which has made me anxious too. I’m (hopefully) now 12 weeks and my boobs haven’t changed at all! Whereas with my first they had. It can be completely different.

As for your pregnancy tests, time of day/what you’ve drank/how diluted your urine is can all affect the strength of the line. Also Google the “hook effect” in case this could play a part.
I would definitely get an early scan when you can - but not too early - because if it’s too early to see a heartbeat then all it’ll do is cause more anxiety.

Wishing you all the best for this pregnancy. Do keep us updated x

BubblyOne00 · 15/03/2022 14:40

@Moonshine160
On my one post in here about my tests I totally was looking at the wrong line🤦‍♀️I'm so prepared and so scared something is wrong that I worked myself up so much that I was looking at the wrong line.

I will have to Google about where to get an early scan done.

My youngest Is 9 and I was so sick with her. I was in and out of the hospital but I think it didn't kick in till I was 6 weeks or so.

@BubblyOne00

Yep I’ve just looked at those tests again Grin wow they are complete dye stealers! Obviously I can’t promise anything but that’s a really really good sign.

If I were you I would try and book a scan for around around 7 weeks because by that point a heartbeat should be seen and that’ll give you some reassurance. Have a Google and it’ll tell you the closest in your area.

You really might just be lucky this time and have a smooth pregnancy with little symptoms. For me it all started around 7 weeks though

Tinadecember · 15/03/2022 15:17

I didn't find out I was pregnant this time until my period was a few days late by which point I was 5 weeks going off LMP date, the only symptoms I had were my boobs were in absolute agony and my sense of smell had heightened.

The morning sickness, food aversions didn't kick in until around 6 and a half weeks and in terms of tiredness it comes and goes.

Very different this pregnancy to my last, I didn't suffer with any morning sickness with my daughter so every pregnancy is very different!

BubblyOne00 · 16/03/2022 20:20

@Tinadecember
I am trying to remain positive. Just so hard. I was prepared for them to tell me last time it was a blighted ovum so this time I am checking for symptoms all the time.

When I was pregnant in July my first symptom was my boobs being bigger and nipples stuck out more. This time I don't have that. My boobs look normal so I feel something is wrong.

I'm also hungry all day. I know 4 weeks 5 days is super early, I'm just worrying myself.
