Drunk tap water smells like rotten egg

I'm 18 weeks pregnant, and went to get a drink of water from the tap and noticed a rotten egg type smell from the sink. I cleaned the sink and rinsed it all.
However I took a few gulps of the water I got and then noticed the water smells abit smelly. Like chemicals slash rotten eggs. I read up it can be hydrogen sulfide and other places it could be sewage block up.
Has anyone had this before??
And would the water I drank that smelt like eggs affect the baby and pregnancy??

Hello I've never experienced that but I have read your other threads and you seem very anxious about lots of things. I also suffer with anxiety and it was awful when I was pregnant so I just wanted to ask if you were getting any support for that. Sorry I can't answer your other question
