Pelvis Pain

I am having tremendous pelvis pain, I am 34 weeks and cannot cope with it, it is generally fine during the morning and afternoon but evening and sleeping is agony, I have to get my DH to roll me over in bed it's that bad ... I have googled it and think I have lightening crotch, which just says it will go after I have had the baby... does anyone have any exercises or positions or anything that would help relive the pain? I spoke to my midwife who just dismissed it as normal esp for a second baby as I'm already 'loose' which is fine if it is I just want to be able to cope with it

Its Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) and it's really poor that your midwife has fobbed you off. Take a look at: pelvicpartnership.org.uk

A pillow between your knees when you're in bed helps a little. Try to take it easy as much as you can. You can get a support band to wear if you need it. Also take paracetamol! Very common in pregnancy but that doesn't mean it should be dismissed - I got referred to a group pain management clinic but to be honest it wasn't a great help.

Oh I have just googled PGP and that's most definitely it! I have a midwife appointment next week so I'll speak to her then, I'll try support belt through the day, I had stopped using it a few months back when it didn't seem to do anything but I'll crack on ;-)
