What blankets do I need to get for baby? I'm due early June - I've seen so many different types and no clue what to get!!

We just had the one to put over bub in the car seat or pram. Knitted by MIL as that's her thing.

Many people use sleeping bags even from birth - we used gro snugs as they have to be a certain size/weight before you can use the 0-3month ones as there's a risk they'll slip down inside but the gro snugs are like a swaddle at the top. There might be other from birth options.

But, if you want to use a blanket for sleeping instead then use a cellular one as the little holes help support temperature regulation. They're not fancy, the supermarkets have them 🙂

Oh also, as you're due in June it may well be quite hot! You might find you just need a large muslin (if anything) for pram/car seat.

Ds was born May. Our most used blanket 2 years on is a thin knitted one by ‘little green sheep’. Used in pram and over bouncer chair or on sofa when tiny to nap. And now it’s still the main one we use in pram or car seat, or snuggled under on sofa.

Depends in how warm it is. My ds was born in the hot summer of 2020, we swaddled him in large muslin style cloths or cellular blankets at first then moved to sleeping bags.
We were given quite a few nice woolen blankets as gifts and didn't get much use out of them but may have done if it was a bit cooler ie. For in the pram
